This is the corrected version - the previous version was cut off for some reason - sorry.

Welcome to "How to Speak Catholic," your podcasting source for the Joy of the Gospel through the Catholic Church.  Our goal is to share the joy of being Catholic, whether you're Catholic, or just curious about what the Catholic Church teaches, we're here to help.

In this episode, back by popular demand, is “The Bible and the Catholic Church.” In particular, we’ll cover Bible Tabs, what Bible to pick and how to pick it, and the custom of genuflection, with a little ancient Greek, as well as some Hebrew thrown in. We’ll also discuss the “Shema” in ancient Judaism, and how it pertains to the various postures and gestures in Catholicism.

We also continue our Scripture Memorization for Catholics, which begins with our Homework Assignment – Isaiah 6:3.

And lastly, please pray for Richard Gubbels, who is very ill and in need of God's loving mercy.  Amen.
